Terms and Conditions at Sleep Matters

- The terms and conditions set out below apply to any contract or order accepted for the supply of beds, mattresses and furniture, or any other product purchased from the Company.
- In these Terms and Conditions “the Company” means The Sleep Business Limited trading as Sleep Matters. Company No: 10158686.
- Terms of Payment
- Full payment of agreed deposit must be taken on order and is non-refundable.
- Balances must be taken once items are delivered by the manufacturer to Sleep Matters and ready to be shipped or collected to you. Items will not be delivered to you, the customer, or collected by the customer until full payment for all items is received by the company.
- Delivery
- Whilst every effort is made to execute orders promptly, the Company cannot accept liability arising from delay, however caused. Where possible, we will inform you of any delay.
- A difficult entry will only be attempted on the written authority by the customer.
- Delivery is set at an additional cost unless otherwise agreed by a member of the company.
- Every effort is made to ensure we keep to our delivery appointments. However, any times given are approximate and cannot be guaranteed because of factors beyond our control that may delay the delivery. Should any delay occur we will contact you to reschedule the delivery for the soonest available agreed time.
- Disposal of your existing bed is at an additional charge, unless agreed otherwise by a member of the Sleep Matters team and should be agreed upon purchase.
- We recommend that you do not dispose of your existing bed until you have received your new one.
- We do not accept any responsibility for damage to your property during delivery other than damage due to our negligence when our liability is limited to the repair of that damage with no element of betterment.
- Inspection of Goods
- All Goods are purchased and supplied, on the understanding that there may be slight dye, shade and grain variations, particularly with natural products such as wood and leather.
- Colours may also change with age and exposure to sun and other climatic conditions.
- We reserve the right to photograph the purchased item upon delivery to you, the customer, to ensure the goods and services being supplied are without fault.
- EX DISPLAY items are sold as seen and are non-refundable.
- Returns and Refunds
- Sleep Matters will not refund or replace non-faulty items.
- Ex Display or Clearance items are sold as seen and non refundable
- The company will only offer to replace or refund an item if the item is found to be faulty upon purchase.
- Any damages or faulty items must be reported and returned to the company within six months of acceptance.
- Sleep Matters will not refund an item if you, the customer, knew the product was faulty upon purchase
- The company will not refund an item if it was damaged by you, the customer, in an attempt to repair it either yourself or through a third party.
- Sleep Matters will not replace or refund any items that do not fit into your property or room. It is the responsibility of you, the customer to be clear about access before purchase.
- Cancellation
- Cancellations cannot be accepted for orders after manufacture of goods has begun.
- The Company reserves the right to offer a credit note for any orders that are agreed to be cancelled.
- Passing of Property
- All goods are at the risk of the customer as soon as they have been delivered or collected, the property and ownership of the goods will not pass until payment in full has been received by the Company.
